Bridges For Brain Injury

We are in need of volunteers to help in our Wildlife Education program! Tasks include yard work, feeding animals, cleaning animal enclosures and general maintenance/janitorial work, as well as assist with wildlife education programs in the community. Also looking for volunteers to help with social media, construction projects, and human services. Candidates Must: Be 18years or older; Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions; Be able to respect and follow direction; Be able to commit to an agreed upon schedule; Be able to work independently. Candidates are interviewed and screened when accepted, and must undergo a volunteer orientation. Benefits: Up-Close Encounters with Native and Exotic Wildlife! Ganondagan State Historic Site: Friends of Ganondagan

Ganondagan welcomes volunteers for many events throughout the year. Volunteer needs include children's activities, hospitality, recycling, and more. Our biggest need is the Indigenous Dance & Music Festival held the fourth weekend in July. Other needs include, Living History in September, a Husking Bee in October (picking, husking and braiding corn), Canandaigua Treaty Day in November, the Native American Winter Arts Festival in December, and Native American Winter Games in February.

Cleaning, walking dogs, socialization of animals, wish list collection, fundraising events, some clerical.

Humane Society of Yates County

Volunteers can do anything from playing with the animals to socializing them, training the dogs, cleaning cages, walking dogs, grooming, doing laundry, helping with fundraising, manning the desk or lawn work.

Ontario County Humane Society Happy Tails Animal Shelter

Volunteers needed to help care for shelter dogs and cats. Duties include play, crate cleaning, general care, feeding, grooming, litter cleaning, taking dogs for walks, giving baths, and more.
